"These Are Some Good Times"

Hey guys, so after a very relaxing, long, four day weekend I learned that classes do continue after midterms. Even though I only had three days of classes, I'm pretty sure that it was the longest week of my life. I don't know if I already said this but I'm a Business Adminstration major so my classes are interesting, for me anyway. I am taking principles of management, accounting, marketing, and microeconomics. It's really great because the information all coninsides with each other. It's not like high school where you take a history, a science, an English and nothing seems to matter. Here when you declare a major you get to take classes that all have a purpose. So even though I didn't think I was going to make it to Friday, I did and I know I'll make it to next Friday. This past week I had my last volleyball match of the year. It was bittersweet. The fact that volleyball is over for this year is refreshing because it means the year is flying by, but our lone senior Jean Ryan '11 will be missed beyond belief. Friday was Colleges Agaist Cancer's Go Pink Day. It was great to see everyone support. Even though I was up till midnight on Thursday decorating the campus center. Last night there was a Men's Ice Hockey game, and even though we didn't pull out a win it was fun nevertheless. As for today? I'm being as lazy as a can. Sundays I like to dedicate to homework, football, and relaxation. Yes, I am a Bills fan and they are playing extremely well. Lets just forget about their record. Actually, I spent a good majority of my morning figuring out the classes I want to take Term II. I get to decide tomorrow with my advisor so that's always exciting. Even though I keep on saying how happy I am that this year is going by so fast and that classes can be stressful at times, I sometimes worry time is slipping away. I do love it here and believe people when they say these are the best four years of your life. So I'm going to make an effort to enjoy this week while looking forward to Halloween! Okayyy byeeeee

"Don't Blink"

Woah baby! It's Mid-Term Break, already?! Well, tomorrow anyway. Where oh where has the time gone? It's kind of surreal to think that half of my sophomore first term is over with. Alright, that was kinda awkward to explain. But, that does mean a lot of things already happened at EC: freshman orientation, Mountain Day singing and then wonderful Mountain Day, Octagon Fair, and Parent's Weekend. So a little about how I spent the past six weeks besides all that fun stuff? - Hmm I participate in Spanish Club, help freshman with their writing, and play some volleyball amoung other things. But the most passinate club I joined this year was Colleges Against Cancer. I was awared Logistic's co-chair and cannot wait for Relay for Life. Even though being on campus is great and all, between classes, practices, and meetings it can get a little overwhelming. That's why I feel like a little kid on Christmas Eve. Just one sleep away and I'm outta here. It's actually great because I have the opportunity to visit some friends this weekend at other colleges and still have time at home with family. Until my class at 9:10 next Wednesday I plan on relaxing as much as possible. So life on campus can be crazy, stressful, overwhelming, and at sometimes unbareable. But, at the same time it's eventful, fun, wonderful, and priceless. And I wouldn't change it for the world. So hopefully you guys will follow me and I can show what life at Elmira is for me, and hopefully might be for you. More to come! Okayyy, Byeeee
